First off, this is not my vinyl rip. I got this from the Tunes From The Shed blog a long while ago (I guess it is now defunct), so all props to the guy that ran that. Hope he/she doesn't mind... just trying to keep the good music out and alive. I'll Be What You Want is one of my favorites...

L.T.D. - Love To The World (1976)
Production from the Mizell Brothers, and that's all you really need to know! J Dilla sampled "Love Ballad" for De La's "Much More", and there are a couple other tracks that could be sampled. Get it here.

John Blair - Southern Love
John Blair was (he may have died, I can't find any info) an electric vitar (violin/guitar) player who has worked with people anywhere from Roy Ayers to Stevie Wonder... This LP from 1976 was co-produced by the late John Hammond... got a soulful (with a slight fusion feel) to it. Nothing really sample-wise, in my opinion, but it's good music nonetheless. Get it here.
